C & K Australian Shepherds
Tails of Approval

We truly enjoy Rusty. He is such a
smart dog. We taught him to ring a
bell hanging on the door when he
has to go out.  He is very active and
likes to play a lot of ball, frisbee and
whatever else he finds.  He has really
grown to be a big guy and very
heavy.

This is my Bear. He is such a sweet guy.
He loves to be hugged and kissed and
talked too. I thank you so much for him
and when I breed him, I will definitely
send you pictures of his puppies.  He
completes my collection of Aussies, for
now anyway.  He has a great herding
instinct and is growing like a weed.

As Mattie's two-year birthday is fast approaching, I
wanted to let you know how much we love and enjoy
her!  She is a wonderful dog - the perfect
temperament (in fact, my husband has said she is
the "dog you always dreamed of"! :) She is beautiful
and a beloved member of our family - she was easy
to train, and loved my 11-year old and her friends
instantly! We can;t imagine our family without her
Thanks again for raising such great dogs!

Thought I'd drop you a
note and let you know
how much we love Stix.
She's such a sweetie.
She's almost seven
months now, and is still
growing. There's no
doubt about it, she's the
alpha dog in the family.

-Larry & Kathy, Arkansas
Thanks again for Houdini.
We love him very much.
He has become such a
part of our family.  We can
hardly imagine a time
before we had him.

We are SO happy with OBI (the kids had to name him
after Star Wars).  He is absolutely precious . . .so
sweet, cuddly, and playful.  He is so mellow for a puppy
and does not startle awake like I have read many deaf
puppies do. He is very smart and has already learned
the sign for "no", "sit", and is walking on a leash pretty
well.  The kids absolutely love him and our older dog is,
well, we'll say tolerant of Obi. We are overall just very
happy in every way with him.  He has adjusted so easily
too.
Thank you for all of your help, info, and for Obi himself.
I am so glad you did not choose to do what most dog
breeders do with deaf puppies and instead gave him a
chance to bless us!

I was so excited to meet
Minnie.  We had a welcome
home party for Minnie once
she arrived. She is such a
sweet puppy.  I enjoy her
very much. She is a great
addition to my family.  Thank
you very much for bringing
Minnie into my life.

-Chelsea, Nevada
They are absolutely wonderful! Rocky
and Pebbles met our vet last Friday for
their first visit there.  Wednesday night,
we have our first obedience and
manners training class.  They are a real
joy to play with and watch.  I am so glad
we go two of the puppies :)

Thought you might
like to see a picture
of "Chloe" all grown
up. She is quite the
wonderful dog, I
changed her name to
Remy. Hope all is well
with you, your family
and Aussies.

Thought I’d share a couple
of pictures of Mick since
it's his birthday today.  He’s
doing well.  The other dog
is Zoë, our Saint Bernard.
They love playing in the
snow!
Hope things are well.

We just wanted to send you some
updated pictures of Ozark (Barron) and
our family!  He has made himself at
home very quickly and is Addison's new
best friend.  He is exactly what we had
hoped for in a new dog and more, and
we just thought you might like an
update on him!  Please know that he is
happy and healthy, and quite the little
cuddle bug (my nickname for him)!  He
is probably over 40 lbs now, and
growing fast!  I will try to send you
updates from time-to-time!

Thank you so much!

Thought we would send you
some pictures of Doc before
we register him with ASCA. He
is a great dog!

-Nancy, Oklahoma
Take a minute and read about some of our previous puppies from their new families!
We are very interested in knowing a
little more about your puppy, Dottie! We
actually have one of your other pups
already- Harry! We have had him a few
years now, Neil drove down from MN to
get him. Harry has a fear of new people
and  likes to bark at strangers and
anything with wheels among many other
things, but is truly a great dog and we
have enjoyed working with him.

Here is a pic Shara and Usul
at the beach this last
weekend.  They had
a blast.  Shara loves car rides
and hates the water. Usul
hates car rides and loves the
water.  Haha.  Perfect match.
They have sooo much fun,
together.

Thought I would share some pictures of
Chloe. She loves being outside and gets
sassy when I make her come in. She has a
wonderful personality. I sometimes wonder
if she doesn't actually understand what I am
saying as she turns her head and listens to
me talk to her. She has definitely brought life
back to this quiet house. She also loves to
play with my son's Yorkie and my daughters
2 wiener dogs. She will sit out back on the
hill and look out over the cattle. Seems really
alert and tuned in to what is going on out
there.

Thank you for such a great dog.

Missy has learned how to swim!
When we go to the lake or
canoeing she will wear a life
jacket, but she needs to know to
swim and how to get out of the
pool if she falls or jumps in.  She
surprised us by wanting to get in
the water with us. Since we spend
quite a bit of time around water we
were glad she likes it.  Will be
interesting to see how she likes
the ocean in August and then
again in Oct.

Missy

Thought you might like to see some pictures of Missy this Christmas.  She
has had a few changes in her life in the last 6 months.  My parents moved
in August 1  since my Mother has had three strokes.  Then my Father
passed away on Halloween.  Missy has gotten out of her shyness by
having to be around the wheel chair Mother had to use, and the walker
she uses now.  She has become a very good therapy dog.  She stays right
with my Mother.  She wakes her in the morning and puts her to bed at
night, sits in the bathroom by the tub when she she gets a bath, walks
with her when she goes anywhere, and lays beside her on the sofa.  She
some how knew there was a need and has taken on the responsibility on
her own. Quite a feat for a 1 1/2 year old puppy.  Mother calls Missy her
best friend. I have Missy to thank for helping Mother get out of a wheel
chair and walk and getting through the death of her husband of 63 years.
Mother's condition has improved thanks to Missy. She is a valuable
member of our family and I don't know what we would do without her.  I
forgot to mention that Missy loves to watch TV.
